To Dye Or Not To Dye

I've been wanting to dye my hair for the longest time but have either chickened out or have been denied  permission by my mom.

However now that I do have the green light to dye my hair so I've been browsing around the Internet finding diffrent colors.

I have really black hair so I don't want to put something in it the blends in I also don't want to have like a girly color like pink but there's so many options!

Taking My Life Into My Hands

I'm going to be honest, I'm a very cynical person I try not to be but I am. I'm also extremely fearful of of making a fool out of myself and I'm negative about things and over think things life, school, home everything it doesn't matter. So I've decide to let go of all that drama and become a more positive person and I love making list (Yes I'm a freak.) so I've put all my ideas for a better me onto a paper.

1: Dress nice. I need to take some pride in myself and forget about the things I don't like about myself and focus on the things I do like. I used to think that I couldn't be the smart, witty, creative girl if I dressed like I had somewhere to go and wore a little bit of make up which looking back that just seems stupid.

2: Set an alarm clock. Being home schooled I've never really had an alarm clock but I do need to set one so I can be up and ready before 10:00 am and I won't be behind the rest of the world.

3:  Get some exercise in my life. I do take Boxing but I've been taking a break since I've been sick for awhile but I did realize I feel better if I workout during the week.

4: Take time to enjoy life. I worry way to much about life and things I have no control over.

5: Meditate. I can never sit still for long periods I either start drumming on something or get very hyper.

6: Get rid of drama. I love celebrity gossip and stuff like that but I really need to cut back on that.

7: Have a good diet. I like to eat crap I won't lie but I don't really put on weight so I'm like "Well hello ice cream." but I need to eat better to help out with my moods and acne.

Stop Body Shaming.

I see a lot of girls comparing themselves to everyone I mean I'm talking like Kim Kardashin, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande and others body shame other girls calling them fat or too skinny I'm gonna tell you something.

It doesn't matter what you look like if your curvy or your stick thin bulling is not okay! Those who hate what you look like, why? Some are curvy and  some a skinny some are short and some are tall some are tan and some are pale. Don't tell curvy girls to go on a diet or tell skinny girls to change since it affects all body type's.

Don't listen to that voice in your head that says your not pretty because that voice's a liar. Also stop body shaming girls who don't look like the typical girl that everyone thinks you should look like if that girl's curvy that's alright! If that girls skinny okay! It doesn't do anything for you or that girl who your body shaming.

Why do we set ourselves these unreachable standards we set for us to look like I mean it's ridiculous. There's no need to hate your body. Stop all this!

Why Stage Fright

So as many of you looking at my blog you might see I like music. A lot. Which's great since I want to be a musician when I'm older but let me tell you a secret, I have crippling stage fright.

I know you're probably thinking "Wait you want to play sold out arenas but you can't even preform in public?" and the answer to that is yes, I do want to be famous doing what I love but sometimes you get that voice in the back of your mind telling you "Really you think you can sing? What do yo think they'll say about you? Do you want to make a fool out of yourself?" and that makes me feel so pathetic and it gets to you.

Here's the thing though, I know I can sing. I've got great range and can keep a tune and pick out the music but when I even try to sing in front of people I want to throw up, and run and hide as far as possible. I can't even sing in the car! I  mean really this gets so annoying all the time. I really wish I could figure out a way to get over this.

I sing in front of very few people mostly my brother Ashton and he's my personal cheerleader so you've got him saying "Go follow your dream you sound great" Yes he actually said that, and then, you've got yourself saying "I can't do this!" What do I do?

I need a doctor, or medicine, or a hypnotise or something to help me!

Yikes Urban Outfitters.

Let's get something straight real quick. I don't like shopping. Never have and never will. Sometimes I like to go to the Mall to buy some clothes like army jackets, ripped jeans, and graphic t shirts but that's about it.

Anything pink will be burned as soon as possible no questions about it. Don't even try to get me to buy a "shudder" dress or heels or a blouse.

Now back to the subject at hand. Urban Outfitters are awful I mean look at this  their selling it for $350.00. I mean I can find that in a dumpster.

I don't care if you shop there before writing this I looked up their website to make sure I wasn't making any hasty remarks  about it. I also found some articles about it and was disgusted to find a t shirt that said "Depression" and "Eat Less" they've pulled both from their stores since but still. I'm sure that was just poor choices on their part and didn't mean to hurt anybody but you always have to be careful since you neaver know what kind of reaction everyone going to have.

Also mental illness's a serious problem and should not be worn on a t shirt like it's no big deal. In short it's a huge store of disappointment.

I'm Against It.

I'm in a ranting mood so here it goes! Society, when I hear that word a lot of things come to mind but I won't post them.
Why does Society think all girls are the same? I'm talking Bubblegum Pink, UGG boot wearing, Make up guru girl. Listen if you like all that stuff that's great! If you don't okay that's fine too or if you're like them both okay! I don't know why they group all of us into that one group. There's a lot of different types of girls!

Some like to dress up and some like to throw on  a t shirt, a pair of shorts, and tennis shoes so what, it's called freewill. If you want to dress in "Tomboy" clothes go ahead!

You want to wear a frilly dress go for it! If you want to dye your hair a funky color that's awesome! If you want to keep it long go you!

I can't stand it when your deemed weird if you look, dress, or act different.

Some girls want to listen to Cody Simpson and some listen to Green Day or some like to listen to Taylor Swift.

What I'm trying to says's that I hate when they judge you being you.

Favorites Songs At The Moment.

Hey! Now since I'm not really in the mood for a long thought out no nonsense post I thought I would post about one of my most greatest things know to man! Music, the one think that keeps me sane! I'm kidding of course but seriously though I love it. I wanted to show you a few I have on constant replay!
5 Seconds Of Summer She Looks So Perfect. If you haven't heard this song you live under a rock! It's a great song to listen to in the middle of the day when you should be doing stuff instead of listening to music like me!
Daughtry Battleships. This has always been one of my favorite bands I mean come on! It's a really great song just with the beat and everything defiantly a song to sing at the top of your lungs.

Mary Lambert Secrets. It's one of those songs that so catchy that you can't help have it stuck head. It's really cool too because she doesn't care  it's kinda like whatever.

What Should We Fear

Fear's something I believe we all have, but why do we have it sometimes.

By definition fear means

"A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real
or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid. threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid."

So back to fear sometimes it's good like when your mom used to tell you "Don't get into unknown cars!" Yes mom of course I won't. Now what about when we don't need to fear it. When I was about twelve or thirteen so not that long ago since I'm just fourteen. We used to go to the pool and there was the spring broad that all pools have and I wanted to jump off of it so bad but when I looked down at the thirty foot deep water all I wanted to do run off the ladder and go anywhere but there.

Being the weird girl I'am and my mom telling me to man up ( Of course in a nicer way. ) And I jumped of while probably screaming a little bit but I was so happy when I jumped off of it. When we have fear it's just something ever human has but we can push that fear but we can beat that fear. Also thanks mom for badgering me to jump.

First Post Ever.

Welcome to my blog! I see you've stumbled upon it in the big space of the Internet. Now the name " Yes, I'm Irish" I'm Irish but I do live in America sorry to disappoint all of you excepting a leprechaun.

I also don't have red hair yes I'm extremely pale. So I just wanted to tell all of you before you either start asking me if I'm a ginger or if I look like a leprechaun because yes I have been asked that before. The stupidity of humanity am I right? Now a little about my blog!

This blog is about the world though the eyes of the weird sarcastic and slightly annoying teenage girl.

The highs the lows and the in between. There won't be any misery talk cause let's face it there's already enough of that. I might post reviews about books, movies, and music I don't quite know yet I'll see where this takes me! I will post things that all teenage girls can relate to and I mean all teenage girls not just the make up obsessed ones that society thinks we are! I hope you enjoy!
